In Extending, February 1990, the juxtaposition of dark purple and turquoise with some ondulating form create a spectacular abstraction, reminiscent of the Some New Prints series to come. Furthermore, the artist creates a playful dialogue with tradition paying some homage to an historical art-form: the dyptich.
